The 17th annual DUMBO Arts Festival is a three-day FREE public event celebration of art, music, and performance that took place over the weekend (Sept. 27-29). Each year it seeks to highlight Brooklyn’s commitment to and presence in the arts community by presenting the best in local, national, and international art amid the breathtaking backdrop of the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan skyline.
Visitors can enjoy outdoor and indoor visual art installations and exhibitions, digital art and large scale projections. They can also visit artists in their studios,help make murals on the street, or watch dancers, poets and actors on street corners throughout the neighborhood. While the main events end earlier, the projections can be seen through midnight all three nights.
